MEAW Technique — Advanced Clinical Training Course
Duration: 2 Days
Course Type: On-site / Online
Language: English
Limited Seats: Maximum 10 participants
Learning Objectives
Understand biomechanical principles behind MEAW mechanics
Learn precise wire bending and adjustment techniques
Identify clinical indications for MEAW applications
Perform cephalometric analysis and treatment planning
Manage anchorage and control vertical/horizontal forces
Review and discuss successful clinical case studies
Course Overview
The MEAW Technique (Multiloop Edgewise Arch Wire) is one of the most advanced orthodontic treatment methods, designed based on precise biomechanics and three-dimensional force control.
By using multiloop archwires, this technique allows clinicians to manage complex tooth movements with exceptional precision and efficiency.
The MEAW training course by SGMed Co. is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice for clinicians who aim to treat challenging Class II and Class III cases.
Participants will gain deep insight into diagnosis, case analysis, and biomechanical control through practical sessions and real case demonstrations.
Course Curriculum
Fundamentals of biomechanics in complex treatments
Introduction to MEAW system and multiloop archwire structure
Treatment design for various malocclusion classes
Manual wire bending techniques and force calibration
Use of elastics and anchorage management
Clinical troubleshooting and problem-solving
Real case analysis and interactive discussion
Hands-On Workshop
Participants will practice wire bending, loop formation, and force adjustment on dental typodont models under expert supervision.
All instruments and materials will be provided during the session.
